What is Stride?
Stride is a pet companion app for iPhone, Apple Watch, and Android. Create a pet with its own personality, memories, and voice. Your real steps power the care loop: walk to feed, bond, and grow together. Chat with your pet in character, and build a relationship that deepens over time.
Is Stride free?
Stride is free to start. Core pet care and walking loops are available without ads, with optional Stride Pro and creation packs for advanced companion and creative features. Current prices are shown in the App Store, Google Play, and in-app purchase screens.
How does HealthKit work with Stride?
Stride reads your step count, active energy, exercise minutes, and stand hours from Apple Health. This data never leaves your device and is never sold or shared. You can grant or revoke access anytime in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > Stride.
Do I need an Apple Watch?
No. Stride works great on iPhone alone. An Apple Watch adds a companion app and complications so your pet is always visible on your wrist, but it is completely optional.
What is Pet Studio?
Pet Studio lets you design a custom pet. Choose a species, pick a theme such as Astronaut, Pirate, or Wizard, and optionally add a description. Stride generates a unique character direction for you. Advanced creation features may require Stride Pro or creation packs.
What is companion chat?
Companion chat lets you have conversations with your pet. Your pet has a unique personality and remembers things you share, including milestones, inside jokes, and daily moments. It is generated software, not a real person. Users must be 18+ and signed in to use this feature.
Does Stride sell my data?
No. We never sell your data. We never serve third-party ads. Your health data stays on your device. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I restore my purchases?
Go to Settings > Restore Purchases in the app. Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google and are tied to the store account used at purchase time.

Account Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time:
- Open Stride on your iPhone
- Go to Settings
- Tap Delete My Account
- Confirm deletion
This permanently deletes your account, companion data, memories, custom pet images, and chat history. This action cannot be undone.
